I am a part-time Library and Information Technician working in the library resource center of a busy Canadian college. I've been writing stories since I was in elementary school, and gradually began learning different forms and styles as I grew older. I have written fan fiction for several genres and won a few online awards for my work. I have written for the text based role-playing game Healing Waters for the past five years, previously serving as administrator for part of that time and winning several board-wide awards for storyline and character development. I also participate yearly in the novel writing competition NaNoWriMo, and work on writing and editing my novel in my spare time.

My interests include reading (favorite authors include Stephen King, Miriam Toews, Jodi Picoult and J.K. Rowling), watching and reviewing movies, cooking and Judaic studies. I hope to write a wide variety of articles here on Suite 101, and to gain skills and experience in the writing business so I can one day become a published novelist and successful freelance writer.
